2009 Scott County Heroes Campaign
The Bluegrass Area Chapter launched its 2009 Scott County Heroes Campaign on April 16th, at the Thomas & King Center in Georgetown. The Heroes Campaign, which runs from April 16 through May 21, is a grassroots community awareness and fundraising drive, aimed at educating our constituents on the mission of the Red Cross, while generating new streams of revenue. Alex Davenport is the Chairperson for this year's campaign. Local community leaders serve as "Captains," with each raising funds to support the Chapter's services. Our fundraising goal is $15,000.
